Re: Hooples
Hello All,
well the hacks managed to freeze the system 3 times already.
I changed the port to 8023 thanks to a fix I found provided by daniel_spain.

Hello All,
I finally joined the MTGA movement (Make Telnet Great Again).
I have resurrected The Hooples BBS, originally running from '93-'98.
I am running WG #2 due to the some of the modules I have are no longer available.

Thanks Questman,
I'll re-install Maillink to try it out.

Re: RLogin Client
"setup synchronet then use my rlogin client."
Dan,
you have created a rlogin client add-on? If so, I would like to try this out.
How would I go about obtaining a copy?
Thanks for your help.

RLogin Client
Hello All,
Does anyone have a solution to connecting to a door game server with WG#2?
As I posted in a different post. I do have WG#3.2 but reluctant to use, I do to not having any add-ons for it.
Way back in the the day I used the DOOR feature even had an add-on called "DOORWAY".

Mail Link vs World Link
Hello All,
In the process of resurrecting my BBS, I am pretty much stuck with WG#2, I do have WG#3 but lost all my upgraded add-ons.
I have Mail Link for WG#2 will this connect with World Link?
Thanks!

Re: Pause screen
Hello Bloodrock,
I found the problem, it was "pebkac"!
Dummy me, after messing around I decided to create a dummy account to test. I login and the screens pause like they should.
I guess the ads scroll by when logging in as sysop (really no need to see them).

Re: Web to Telnet
Abraxis,
I think you will find an answer to question at ftelnet.ca, or just google ftelnet.
I used this in the past, it actually works pretty well

Re: Pause screen
Hello Bloodrock,
Unfortunately The BBS is not live at the moment. so I cannot show what I mean.
I'll try to explain better on what I am trying to achieve.
Any ADD-ON game, in this example would be Logicomm BladeMaster.
