This is an old thread, but I don't recommend WG3.3. It was started by Galacticomm, but never fully finished or tested. It was released by the remains which wasn't even a legitimate venture (and still isn't) and has some console freeze and other bugs with it.
3.2 is stable.

Re: Major supports FTN?
I'm not sure we have the source code to MjrFIDO either. There was also DBSMail which was better because it allowed Fido tossing into the Forums while the BBS was up - it added an autosense routine for Fido and acted as a FTN mailer too (like Binkley or Frontdoor)

Re: Menu Tree / MDF Files
The old MenuMan edition of the BBS allowed for live changes to the menu ... not sure why that was abandoned. There's a crappy console utility that renames MDF to DMD and this disables the module from loading - but yes, the menu will still show the option and it will say "This option is temporar...

Re: Looking for a couple of modules
No, Infinity Complex doesn't have a realtime kicker. It's ported to Win32. bbs.elwynor.com is running it. Just e-mail me - that's the best way to get me. I'm still trying to get the website back up. We lost it when the server moved and the backup for some reason wasn't recoverable and it's just so m...

Re: API in MajorBBS 10
The API in MajorBBS 10 is still a programmatic API, not a RPC type API. We do want to figure out REST (bi-directional!) of course, but right now the focus is the core platform as-is.

The fake Galacticomm rush...

Re: Mutants V4
The good news is that we do have the source to it, despite not the copyright. So we will be able to port it up to the later builds of MBBS.
