i have a cosysop and want him to be able to do accounting
I gave him the sysop key but he can not get access to the accounting menu,i even triied giving him the MASTER key but still no access
the only way to do accounting is with the sysop account.
Is this a know bug?
COSYSOP
Re: COSYSOP
Have you given them sysop access via the system management module? To do this login to the BBS, select system management (by default S), then type SYSOP and enter their username. This will allow you to select what functions you want them to be able to access.

gotta enable each option individually via RSM
...
type :
/go remote SYSOP
<enter userid to modify >
you will see all the things they can or cannot do signified with a => option.
example:
SENDALL => Send Message to ALL
SEND Send Message
notice the => is what says they can do it. type each thing you want to turn on/off and typing SYSOP gives them complete MASTER access
via the entire system which going back to my dial up admin days i never gave anyone that except the sysop account itself but that was just me.
that overrides everything. and if you use any of my global addons there are options internally which you can even prevent master key users from being bothered, booted, etc...
