Explains how to get 16 & 32 bit doors to run
Re: Explains how to get 16 & 32 bit doors to run
You can use GameSrv (https://www.gamesrv.ca/) which does the same thing. GHost/2 was never finished/released.

Thanks! I'll give it a look!
Re: Explains how to get 16 & 32 bit doors to run
in the 90's there was a bbs that allowed us to dialup and play doom II multiplayer, is Doors what would have been used to accomplish this? could this still be done on new majorbbs software and if so could anyone even play it with current operating systems not having a true ms-dos?
Re: Explains how to get 16 & 32 bit doors to run
I actually wrote APCiDOOM and the APCiMPGS for APCi back in the day. We had a module for MBBS/WG to integrate the two as well as standard doors for other BBSs. Sirius Software also had The Game Connection specifically for MBBS/WG but it suffered every time the BBS went to the disk for anything. It takes quite a bit of hardware to run, but you can download the APCiMPGS from my site at https://APCiDOOM.com .
