Hi All,
Work has been progressing on updating WorldLink (to be rebranded MajorLink) and as part of this an updated module has been released. This updated version removes the manual scheduler that was required to configure WorldLink to connect to the hub. Sysops are no longer required to enter days/times, the hub address or channel numbers to use.
This will mean that systems will automatically connect to MajorLink without any of the tedious configuration, allowing for an always-connected system more consistent with today's world.
Both the Full installer and Upgrade installer have been updated and can be downloaded from www.themajorbbs.com/files

now we need to work on my idea... using the worldlink teleconference i want to have some form of mud
("Tele-Arena Battleground") and let systems fight each other. problem is the multiplayer code has to be
done server-side to store health, locations, etc.... doing it from client side would allow file manipulation
to ruin the integrity of the game.

Re: MajorLink Update
It could be housed on the MajorLink server.

Now here is a great idea!
But I say if served up on one or two servers then make list on said server that you can join say 5 games you could pick from and share through Majorlink.
