Major BBS v6.25 Free Edition released!

As a thank-you to our community and as promised, we have just released The Major BBS v6.25 Free Edition which contains a 256 user count license and the Galacticomm Internet Connectivity Option to allow access to the BBS via services such as Telnet without the need for Vircom's MajorTCP/IP.

Please read the included README.TXT file for installation instructions and the enclosed licensing agreement.

It is important to keep in mind that v6.25 is over 25 years old, ran on different hardware than is available today and on a different operating system so there are no guarantees you will not encounter bugs/issues. Virtual machines are great but can not perfectly replicate hardware/software of this age.

I can't even begin to tell you how exciting this is! To be able to get an honest to goodness BBS back up and running using MBBS is amazing. Thanks for making this happen, and thanks for keeping the project alive!
