What do your Telnet stats look like for your BBS?

Wait, is the question here regarding how many boards are running PSTN lines vs. Telnet??

I'd wager that number is zero-point-zero.

If you look on the Telnet BBS guide there are around 35 BBS's at the time of writing with Dial-Up. In fact, this seems to be a rising trend that boards are adding a single Dial up line back into the mix.

Now, I don't see any of them being MBBS, but still I don't think support for modems should be abandoned at this time.

No, the question is part of a series of polls to gauge how people are connecting. There will be additional polls for C/S mode, ActiveHTML, etc.

The goal is to decide what methods should be kept in future versions.

I suspect that the very vast majority will be telnet, but I want to get the information from those using the product.

honest answer? if its a bbs software it should support all methods, pots, telnet, rlogin, and http.
now with that being said, it does not mean you don't push a tcp/ip release and introduce pots
support after you have a stable core working great.
