Clean install of v10-R32. Did I miss a configuration step?
ANSI Toggle
Re: ANSI Toggle
There is no configuration that should have that behaviour, do you have any add-on modules that could be causing it?

The only add-ons I have are MajorMUD stock, plus mods 1-9, and Plus-entertainment.

Re: ANSI Toggle
If you add the Dialsoft FU Globals package for V10 (available in the Files area on themajorbbs.com) you can toggle ANSI on or off with a global command. On my BBS I have the ANSI question disabled and just let the autodetect handle it. I figured that's why the ANSI toggle wasn't in the User Account Edit screen for me. But perhaps it's not there either way.
The globals method will work.

Re: ANSI Toggle
I have daniel spain's globals and you can turn on and off ansi
Re: ANSI Toggle
FU Globals will let you toggle it however I am not sure why you are having this issue because I can't replicate it with a fresh install of v10.
Does it happen regardless of using a sysop account or normal user account?

I'll have to give this a shot. I've not tested it with a Sysop account.

Daniel,
Does your version of FU Globals require a key?

I finally got around to trying this. I created a user and selected ANSI Off at registration. Gave user the SYSOP keychain, and tried to change it back to ANSI ON. No luck.
The old FU Globals required a key. Is there a key-less version floating around?

Re: ANSI Toggle
The version for MBBS v10 does not require a key and is available for download from the files section of the website.
