Just installed the BBS on a test computer to familiarize myself before installing on a dedicated desktop. Why can’t I log on as Sysop on the Remote Console?

Isn’t the default password Sysop? I’m getting an incorrect password error.

Did you read the quick start guide that was sent with your activation code? I have also seen this question posted here, discord and I can only assume Facebook. Maybe just give it some time for someone to answer in one spot before blasting it everywhere.

And yes, the password is set as part of the install program (which you enter during setup).
