				It seems that there may be a bug with ANSI settings. If you choose, "No" at registration, then you get no ANSI, obviously. If you go to account settings on the main menu after logging in, and you change the toggle to, "English/ANSI" it doesn't change anything.
The only way I can see to correct the issue is to delete the account and have the user sign back up, and select, "Y" at the ANSI prompt regardless of whether it's blinking or not.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

-> account/display edit
-> option A
-> move highlight bar to (ANSI-ON or ANSI-OFF or ANSI-AUTO)
-> press spacebar to toggle what you want
alternatively you can install my globals package and type =A to toggle
an additional alternative is to install my very very very old ansi-switcher that was made when you logged in with a hayes 1200 baud smart-modem for some reason the galacticomm auto-sensing did not work with it and it always reverted back to "cyan" which is ansi-off, noone knew why, not gcomm nor hayes so i made something that ran and when your users logged on it auto switched them.

Excellent. I'll give this a shot! Thanks for the reply!

				Unfortunately, the settings you gave me instructions on are not there. The following is the settings changes output when going to Account/display, Option A. Did I mess something up when I installed the v10 software?:
Retype any entry, or press ENTER to leave it unchanged, or BACKSPACE over it to
change it. You can also use ^U to backup one line if you made a mistake (hold
down the "Ctrl" key and type 'U'). Press ^G to save at any time, or ^O to quit
at any time.
   User Account Information
   ------------------------
 Screen columns:  80
   Screen lines:  24
                  (press space to toggle)
 Default editor:  FSE
   Pause output (press space to toggle)
    each screen?  PAUSE
            Sex:  MALE
  (not displayed, for security reasons)
       Password:  *********
   Save, Edit again, or Quit?

				I encounter this behavior on the B10 version installed at bbs.themajorbbs.com currently. My main account (Lju) I had selected N because the word ANSI wasn't blinking (with Windows 11 telnet), but then found an older software ZOC8 that had better ANSI support. However once I typed my username it switched to non-ANSI mode regardless of what is configured in my Account settings (A from the main menu.)
I created a second account "Lju2" and selected Y at sign up. This has ANSI properly enabled for everything.
I have no way available to me to switch my first account to enable ANSI.

				This issue doesn't occur with the latest version of V10 - the demo site (bbs.themajorbbs.com) is running behind by one version and once the update is applied this will be resolved.

I'm running R32. Are you referring to an unreleased update?

				Is your system a clean v10 install or an upgrade from wg3.2? A fresh install of v10-R32 does not have this issue.
