A few minutes after launching The Major BBS v10 I receive an error BTRIEVE ABSOLUTE ERROR 8 ON FILE"DIALCTRL.DAT".

Any ideas?

Does this occur every time you try and start MBBS?

If you disable Dial Control, start the BBS, shutdown, re-enable it and re-start what happens?

Does it load with it disabled and not when it is re-enabled?

I seem to have stumbled onto the cause of the problem. It seems that my system didn't like the fact that I had another service running and the two conflicted with one another causing this problem. So don't do what I did and have Kodi running on the same system as a VM loaded with MBBS. :)
