I did the mapping for the Volcano and a few other areas in TA 5.0, and would love to give my Sundays into making areas for TA again. I have also designed and implemented a few areas for linux based muds running Merc 2.2 (heavily modified)

If you need more info shoot me a PM.

This was always a hobby for me. I hadn't expected to make money on it. I don't have money to keep pouring in to it either. The choices were #1: let it sit, running until something goes out, not having backups of anything or #2: pass the helm over to someone else that just may actually do something ...

Galactic Empire ANSI repair and implementation

Anyone who has played Galactic Empire knows that random help files make your screen dim, some make the text bleed, and any number of assorted text output is inconsistent at best for display.

I spent the last week or so pouring over the mbmgemsg.msg and mbmgehlp.msg and have standardized the output ...

Re: I started tinkering with a Linux port of GE

I am playing around with a linux port of GE free from MBBS. In the early stages so far but need to get the source to BBSMSX or BBSIDX that regenerates the message.h files from the message.msg files. I can recode it but didn't want to if someone has the source already.

An introduction

My name is Christopher Conant. You might have known me on Realm of Legends, Emerald Palace, and for a short time on many other SoFL local BBSes.
