Updated the original post for the sixth time, as I sit inside hiding from the heat and humidity this holiday weekend.

Deleted 3 boards and added 1. At one time I had 21 games listed.

As close as I can tell this topic was viewed 250 times since my last update.

Well it's been 2 months and I'll update this for probably the last time. My work season is coming up and I will not have the time to play the games or update this on a regular basis.

Updated the original post again, deleting 5 boards :cry: (level 16, level 41, level 5, level 16 and level 11 players ...

Jungle is a pay BBS with 2 hours free a day, the other two are totally free.

Could anyone recommend a telnet client I can use on Windows Vista/7 for telnetting where I can use macros and maybe have the ability for file transfer? Thanks.

same here i was getting spikes of 50 online, one day had over 100, down to 15, up to 20, down to 5, up to 30, its hit and miss.

Would be nice if one could even connect to your BBS now days. Been 49 days and counting since my last connect.

After making a big deal about setting his BBS up and getting it listed here and on 'The BBS Telnet Corner' website. The sysop took it private and DNS does not resolve to it any longer, so scratch Jersey's Best BBS ...

There are config options on both versions, but the max on dos is 365 days, and nt, i'm not sure - maybe 40 days or so... There isn't an option, as far as I can see, to disable it.. .maybe some one needs to make a patch for it. I lost my own character last year because of it as well.. SOC is a fun ...

Thanks for the update. Yeah, it's too bad about SOC. The win nt version doesn't keep your character available for very long when you don't/can't log in to the board. The DOS version keeps it for as long as a year, but SOC in DOS is a resource hog like MajorMud. If I had another DMA server (or 2) I ...

The BBS has been down since sometime mid March as the last time I was able to connect was 3/3 when I logged on to keep my Swords player active. That level 41 player has since gone bye-bye. Sigh.... :cry:

Seems your DNS is messed up or the BBS has gone away. Haven't been able to connect since June 2nd.

Been over a thousand new members / users since I registered just 7 weeks ago, most are from overseas and I'll wager that less than 50 of them have any real idea what this place is all about.
