Well can you open a dos prompt and type "xcopy /?" to make sure the program is on the machine and/or allowed to run in the directory you are trying to launch it from, and that you are using the correct syntax for the version you are using on the new server... Actually, it's just for me to do some of the sysop stuff easier... Not for users... Thanks! I fixed the limit problem in my release of the 1.oox release of the Majormud DLL. There is no limits on that anymore. I went through the entire DLL fixed all of that. A lot of boards are running the 1.00x now. I did it with Metor's knowledge and even sent them a copy of the update. Is this 1.00x ...

Don't forget the increased buffers so things like user listings display entirely lol... with 177 players you can list them using the games internal "who" command... but after we go beyond that, the bottom dozen or two drop off as if the listing just stops... I wonder if they ever tested with this ...

I was thinking along the lines of splitting the MUD, say realm 1-5 on BBS #1 then 6-9 on #2, if you can do such a split. If such a thing can be done. Use an unlimited telnet server behind your firewall/router to direct users to the proper BBS. You can probably put some BBS's in your logout message ...
