IS there a walk through on how to get the email on WG 3.3 set up and working?

yeah i just got it working with no issues using a smarthost.

setup was simple:

install synchronet on another machine, i did this because even using my
rlogin daemon replacement where i could configure my own listening port,
it still recognized the ip as your WG ip, this could probably be bypassed by assigning a secondary ip but for this writeup ill use 2 machines.

setup the synchronet mail server to use a relay server use your isp logon credentials using authentication PLAIN.

edit sbbs/ctrl/relay.cfg to accept email relays from the isp of your wg server by putting the ip address of the pc with wg on it on a single line in the cfg file

now open wg config level4, enable smtp sending, use a smarthost, smarthost server is the ip of the pc holding the synchronet email server.

thats all it takes.

wg itself will receive emails on its own by opening up port 25 to receive.

got it all setup and working. My users really like being connected to the HUB also. We are trying to get other board hooked up as well.
