New from Galacticomm LLC - ICO Telnet Server w/ MultiPort Option.
This is a drop-in replacement for the standard GALTNTD Telnet Server
that ships with Worldgroup 3.x for NT. This version adds the ability for
the SysOp to configure the port that the server listens for telnet on. In
addition, the SysOp may define a configurable second port for the server
to listen for telnets on.

I was making telnet moduals with custom port numbers
for private systems. but this is better to help wg grow.
err, can I get the source code for this to update my
source code tree?
Re: NEW: ICO Telnet Server w/ MultiPort v2006.01!
you can always still create custom ico modules.frcorey wrote:ratz, there goes my custom telnet modual business.Questman wrote:New from Galacticomm LLC - ICO Telnet Server w/ MultiPort Option.

my ico modules all of em have custom ports.
and alot more features.
i use the wg 4.0 development kit thats the one that was released with the breakthrough sources.
4.0 src while unofficial as it may be released the source codes to EVERYTHING
the web server doesnt even have a 256 user barrier anymore.
No, it didn't. There is a lot of Engineering Source that is not included in that archive. In fact, the only thing that is there that shouldn't be is that one library.
That was a mistake - he f---ed up, because, apparantly, he's an idiot, there is no other explanation.
Understand that you have absolutely no license to that code - you should delete it - and that is code that I will, no question, prosecute if it gets shared, used, etc.

its out there all over the internet, and the gsbl.c for wg 1.01 has been on umm programmers haven for a few years now i think?
and also rick if its on gcomm.com it will get on the net cause of the bug in wg 3.3 that allows access to all file libraries. thats how the 3.2 unlocked source got leaked the first time.
GSBL.C didn't exist until WG3.0 NT (not 100% true, WG1.01 for UNIX was in C, too - the project was called Unity to port the UNIX GSBL to work with NT for version 3)dspain wrote: well someone better start explaining b/c i have a signed contract with netvillage issued when i sent him over $1,000.00 in feb of 2002

I feel for you, Dan - because you paid $1,000.00 to a company that has no right to license anything.
I think the dev kits should be freely available myself. But I am not in favor of releasing the GSBL freely, because otherwise, how can you sell licenses?
I also think the price they charge for licenses is ridiculous. It should be a tenth or less of what they're charging. People shouldn't have to pay more than a couple hundred for a maxxed out copy.. maybe $300-400 tops..
But anyway, yeah. He screwed up and definitely did not intend to have that code in the kit.
im sure, i wonder if he even knows?Questman wrote:GSBL.C didn't exist until WG3.0 NT (not 100% true, WG1.01 for UNIX was in C, too - the project was called Unity to port the UNIX GSBL to work with NT for version 3)dspain wrote: well someone better start explaining b/c i have a signed contract with netvillage issued when i sent him over $1,000.00 in feb of 2002

yeha its cool though i stumbled onto this project and some of the sources nate did send me are unavailable anywhere good as a reference point.
it was a few years ago i've made up the loss since then
besides you didnt pull the plug on my TA project so im not gonna return the favor by screwing ya over.

yeah the 3.x library sources was a plus but the sbl? i thought it was wierd too especially being the 3.3 source kit was released with alot of directories for stuff but nothing in em.
i think this was one of them situations cause the GALGSBL source wasnt even where you would think you would put the core to the damn server.

yeah 1000 only got me 8user development system and a free updates.
but heres the catch if i generate my own code using MY unofficial generator and ask netvillage for a code to something to go with that code i get it no questions asked.
so i dont think they keep up with the codes and where they are.
but its all under the bridge now.
