Is interlink available for WorldGroup version 3.3? If so, I may be interested. I'm looking for interesting things to do with my idle board that has no activity at this time but is mainly for my fun and development (maybe I should advertise it one day).

NP!

I have plenty to catch up on myself with WG!

Heh, only had it back in 96 or 97 for a couple of months and yawn that's a long story!

Anyway, got something else to look forward to!

Hello

A demo copy that I got a few years ago, I'm still searching all the forums around the internet and posting messages for anyone wanting to, one selling 1.0 2.0 or 3.20 so I can have Rick put it in my name and then start buying the modules I want to add to the BBS!

Sigh, no luck as of yet, but I won’t give up!

Someone, somewhere has to have a copy for sale:

By the way, how and the heck do you use wgscolor? I get an error message from the win2003 & win98 DOS BOX and win2003 CMD prompt, I also tried win98 boot to dos then it asks must be in a win32 environment?

I hope I don’t have to go from page to MSG to MSG!

Well, I'll have to talk to Rick, on a upgrade for your offer, if it is one!

How much would you want for one of your copies?

Sounds good so far, the only offer I have got to date!

Well, if Rick would upgrade one of those that would be kewl for my sake!

I'll have to wait and see what he has to say!

Other then that I'll have to go the other way!

Thanks

I can get you a valid code, as long as you're a valid licensee of any prior version.

To verify you, I'll need to know the Name, Address, Company Name (if any), and Voice Phone # of the registration #'s owner as of 1999.

Don't hold your breath, but I'm working on it!

Worldgroup 3.2 and 3.30 use worldlink instead of interlink, though both are very alike.I have worldlink and maillink/ majornet running though there are hardly any messages.
As a matter of fact I just sent a message if anyone was still using maillink and got 1 reply from a bbs in indiana. It connects your forums to other bbses.
I would love to see this come back to life.
Marc at dialsoft gives out the maillink program that majornet uses, for free and i hub from him.

Yup! My BBS is connected to a small network of BBS's and we use interlink to connect.

But I don't think Rick has the rights to this one yet.
Would be great if he did.

I can't, because John Kovl, the owner of the rights, only had one copy of the code, and its on a crashed hard drive in his office...

I do data recovery work on bad hard drives if he wants to see if the data can be recovered. N/C

Update: Spoke with John, who recently moved, and decided to throw out the hard drive. I wish he'd contacted me or Joe, as we'd talked to him a few times about trying to help get the source recovered, but, I guess it was his to throw out. Our loss.

Interlink is dead for good.

The author of Chatlink doesn't return my e-mails (only returned one, confirming it was him, and seems to want nothing to do with the topic. Why? Nobody knows. It's a bizarre reaction.)

The author of Compass Chat doesn't answer ANY e-mails (might not be him, but why no answer at all? Another bizarre antisocial reaction.)

Other than Worldlink, the other link-up packages are dead.
