Worldlink

I don't know if this matters, but when I'm on as "Sysop" I'm always invisible, but worldlink still shows 1 user on my BBS but if you'd look at my BBS it shows no one online. Don't know if maybe this is something you are talking about or not, but figured I'd chime in.

Seems that my config somehow causes the user list to be incorrect. Kinda odd, and something I'd definitely like to troubleshoot if anyone could help.. Using 3.3 and Questman's DLL, nothing really weird.

Did you recently update from 3.2 or a dos version? You may want to ask Questman to send you a fresh copy of the worldlink files. Be sure to disable worldlink in offline utils (all 3) then install the new WL files, reactivate worldlink in offline util. Then go thru every config setting be sure they are correct. Also make sure worldlink is useing the last channel in your licence count it seems to be happiest thier. Then start up the bbs.

Yes, if you are having trouble and are using a fresh install of v3.x get in touch with me and I'll send you the zip with the updated client.

Most times, the trouble is related to:

1. Your system's DNS setup is wrong in GALDNS; and/or
2. Your Worldlink Scheduler setup isn't right - it's 24 hour time and the start time has to be before the end time.

Anybody know if worldlink is gone again?
My BBS hasnt connected to it in a week even when I try to manually do it.
Did the IP Change?

I pmailed Questman about it a few days back. I have not heard back yet whats wrong with it.

Last I checked a week ago Randy had someone rebuilding the server. Hopefully we can get it back.
