A somewhat simple program.. How about some type of 8-ball program, except with an added AI.. Kind of like an ask the wizard type of deal. You ask him questions, and he answers.

More advanced - how about some war simulation games, kind of like nobunaga's ambition, romance and the three kingdoms, etc, except with a good multi-player aspect. The lord clones are just way over done.. let's see some thing new

It'd be hit or miss, I suppose. I like ambroshia, which is a clone of exitilus, but i'm not a die-hard fan. Interstellar Annihilation or BRE is more my style.

Those could be doable...if we buy the rights to do so from Mr. Daily....maybe it's time to talk.

John is like a lot of people. He wants to control bre, just like mike wants to control lunatix. These type of people will not sell their games/mods, but they may allow you to port them if you're lucky. (Lunatix is already ported, but just using that as an example) - They will never give up their rights to those games. Apparently, several people have asked over the years.

Then again, interstellar annihilation is freeware, and it may be a lot easier to get persmission to do it. It also has an easier learning curve than BRE/SRE/FE.

Both of them have inter-bbs support, which could be the first inter-bbs worldgroup games ever created, if you could make it all work.

I love SRE/BRE and would love to see that here for worldgroup. If you get it running I will buy..
