Hey Guys,

If your running the old DOS versions of WG , if you want we could start linking Telechat area's....


If no one else wants to hub the whole thing...i will

Heres the how to......i believe the below should work

1 - Go to hardware setup and set 1 channel to modem channel

2 - Make Modem channel set to "TELOUT" ( remember what channel

you choose )

3 - Log into your BBS and go to Entertainment telechat

4 - type " Dial ( telout channel) (system name your callings) (

IP Number) Example: Dial 3 HostBBS 74.57.230.40

5 - Logon to the host system ( make a account if needed)

6 - Go to Entertainment Telechat area ( on my system its called

Telechat Room )

7 - Type 1 of these 3 commands

LINKED! or LINK (userID) System OR LINK (Password)

(Your System Name)Ex: Link Link MyBBS


The Password on my system is " LINK "

Either of those should work.....i suggest the 2nd OR 3rd 1 for the

fact that it lists your system name...

I have a mbbs 6.25 with the ent. addon.
what software do I need to linkup?

The software you need is built into the Entertainmanet addon.......

Look in your old BBS sysop book for the Entertainment addon part and lookup LINK! command.....

I kinda wrote this note figuring i would have a couple days to try it all again and didnt expect someone to answer so quickly LOL
