Terminal Program

What terminal program does everyone use to connect to BBS's? I use mTelnet, but I just upgraded to Windows 7 (finally) and you cannot make it full screen it just does the little Window. I'm trying to find something nice that is full screen. Anyone have any suggestions?

I use a couple, ZOC or Putty, both work good for me. (using XP and Vista)

I tried PuTTY, it will go full screen, but won't hold aspect ratio like I'm assuming your after. Unlike Windows XP and the sorts, Windows 7, doesn't really support 16-bit stuff very well. I run a triple boot of Windows XP, Windows 7, Ubuntu Linux. So if I needed BBS related stuff, I would boot into my Windows XP system, etc. I currently run Syncterm . Does what I need it to do, however your mileage may vary.

I use ZOC. It seems to do a pretty good job. And you can store connections to any other boards you want in it.

I use SecureCRT to do most telnet stuff, if I am not logging in from a shell / terminal on a unix box or in xwindows.

To test my commodore stuff from the same computer, I use a little progam called cg-term, which emulates the petscii char set, but this probably has no relevance to what you are trying to do...

Windows 95, 98, and XP come with a simple terminal emulator called HyperTerm which can also be used to telnet. I have never tried to blow it full screen though, nor have I checked windows 7 for a copy, but it does do the job in a pinch.

SecureCRT is a pretty nice package though, by VanDyke technologies... they are a front company for the NSA... You can also use it to SSH if you want to, and it is a good all around secure com package.
