Hi all,
I ran MajorBBS and WorldGroup in the day for a few years. I did work with the source code to a minor extent back then having been born/bred in to C/C++. Not that I am up on all that these days and my wife made me throw out my box of diskettes about 10 years ago in a house move.
So, I would like to help. Things do not seem incredibly active but still would like to help.
Any suggestions on what would be best for the community? I will see how far I get downloading and getting a system to run for starters.
Thank you!
Greg Moore
Nashville now, was in Cherry Hill NJ when I was running the BBS.

Check out the Discord. I think the people working on development like to hang out and chat in there.

i still write addons and systems for wg... you can view my products at http://www.forums.arcticzonebbs.net
as for what the community needs.... shrug... something new. we can port things all day but its still the
same games we played in our youth. im working on a tele-arena version as we speak that mixes the
game around and kind of combines mutants and swords of chaos elements as well as some new stuff.
im still not giving up on a worldlink mud where systems can play against each other live but this will need
support from the worldlink owner as we will have to modify the server core so the central server holds
all data to keep it "fair" but in 2024/2025 it owuld take a few people working on it so in my downtime i just
port old dos door games to addons.
