So I have aquired an old WindowsXP machine and am considering running a private board.
Why?
I miss playing Tele-Arena, Tradewars and MajorMud.
I've only ever been a user before so this would be my first attempt at a "sysop" and just want to run it locally at home for now.
So what I want to know is there any place I can buy MajorMud still? I've tried contacting Metropolis with no response multiple times. Also, how do I get a legal copy of WG to run it on?
And lastly - besides the search (keep finding conflicting information or I'm just being search impaired): Any idots beginners guide I should read through?
Any and all help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Tele-Arena is available for the new Wg now and i am working on a new MajorMUD engine.
as for TW the new TWGS allows you to run multiple games within an rlogin session.

You can get a copy of WG3.2 from our website at www.themajorbbs.com/files and if you fill in our contact form we will send you a free 32 user license.
TA is owned by Elwynor Technologies and you can find their site at www.elwynor.com - they also have a lot of other WG products as well.
MMUD licenses are a lost cause as Metropolis no longer seem to respond to any requests.

WG i "THINK" is free now.... TA you acquire through Rick my newest Classic is ready to go
let him know you want it and the rest is automated :)
