Registrations?

Post by sduensin »

I've requested both v10 and WG DOS activation codes numerous times using the form on the web site. I never hear anything back. Help? Please?

Thanks.

We received a single request on 30th March which was in the middle of the Easter holiday period, and we were taking some time to spend with our families which is why the reply was delayed.

A registration number and activation code has been emailed to you for WG3.2/WG3.3 and v10 (the code will work for both flavours). We do not issue codes for DOS based products anymore.

Unfortunately we are a small team who do this as a labour of love and we do the best we can to respond to requests as efficiently as possible, however, we are not a 24/7 support centre and we ask that people be patient.

Thank you! I figured Easter was the hold up on the current key... But honest! I've filled in that form before! :-)

I did receive the v10 code this time. My current Windows VM tells me it's not a Windows 32 bit executable. I'll try another one but the file might be bad.

If I find my existing DOS WG registration, can you upgrade me to 256 nodes?

Thanks again!

That's a shame. I REALLY hope you're not going to just let the DOS code die and disappear. Please don't let it be lost to time. If it has no value to you anymore, release it!

Nobody is letting anything die, which is why this project exists.

The reality is that there is a free version of MBBS v6.25 for DOS, which is the prominent DOS version and the number of requests for WG DOS items is very small.
