The opto switch and some #73 bulbs came in today, installed and calibrated the opto switch, and I was able to get everything up and running. It's been a really cool journey, going from someone that didn't know shit about jukeboxes to being basically a jukebox 'tech' over the period of two weeks or ...

I have seen a few portable 35mm projection systems, with everything built in, and I've even seen some people do 110v conversions on a few setups that use to be in big theaters. I personally don't see why you would run dual 110v lines vs running a single 220v line.

Even if Nostalgia BBS is not running any more, I still feel nostalgic most of the time, not just for BBSes but many things. Hell, I even feel nostalgic for the days when people actually knew what to do without a cell phone, because they were usually out of the reach of affordability for most people ...

DMA servers required a static ip address. Other than that, I really don't see why someone hasn't created a synchronet 'DMA' server which doesn't require a static IP. After all, the synchronet source code is freeware, and other than creating a unique member/bbs ID in synchronet, it needs to allow a ...

OS/2 could definitely be an option. In fact, it would probably be the easiest way to stay true to PCBoard. With DOS, there's absolutely no way of getting around some type of terminal server to push connections through a physical comport or multi serial card. I do have a 32? port terminal server, but ...

PCBoard BBS in the Future?
I'm glad to see that there is still some activity on these boards. I know this isn't a PCBoard site, but there really aren't any PCBoard sites left. Since I don't really plan to bring back Nostalgia BBS but still am interested in bringing a door game board on-line, something different than ...

It's been awhile since I've been here, probably longer since I've logged on to a BBS at all. I've been spending a lot of time in Texas, as well as fighting for causes. Every once in awhile, I look back and reminisce about the good ol' BBS days, as well as both the good and bad of running Nostalgia ...

Well, in the last month or so, I've lost about 90+ percent of my loggers, with no e-mails or anything explaining why. Well, I've currently tried a rocketport ISA 8-Port card, and GHOST just won't let me use it. Apparently, it supports com1-8 as well as some type(s) of digiboard, 1-32.

Actually, the latest version is probably v1.76. So, if you have 1.10, you probably have a very old game nothing like the newest one. If you can generate activation codes off of the already compiled versions, you can download the MBBS version here:
