Looks like it's been a month or more since worldlink has been online. Every time I check the board, it's always down, and when I try to manually connect to worldlink, it just never connects.
Newport get tired of running it already?
Worldlink still down?

I know what you mean about being out of the loop. I'm still out of the loop, due to some family emergencies, but I try my best to get online a couple times a day, if nothing more than to just make sure all of the servers are still online.
All of the updates have been put on hold for awhile, but the board must go on I guess lol

Man, I'm so sorry to hear about that. My grandmother is under hospice home care now from stomach and uterus cancer, and we've had some sleepless nights at hospitals, even took over the 2nd floor one night camping out at the hospital before hospice took over her care.
Every day, she gets a little worse, but they believe that she's in the final few days. She quit eating yesterday and is pretty much unresponsive as of now.
Of course, we love our grandmothers, but nothing is quite as precious as our own children. I don't have any kids myself but have a really close bond with a 10 year old family member that I would love to consider as my own, and if anything were to happen to her, it would devastate me. She was adopted because of all of the hell she went through with her birth mother and step-father, pretty much every type of abuse and neglect you could think of. Fortunately, she has blocked all of that stuff out.
Her story is terrible, makes people feel sorry for her, but when people meet her, she puts a smile on their faces. Her adoptive parents spoil her rotten, shower her with gifts from $20 dolls to $4000+ 4-wheelers, but as spoiled as she is, she's just as happy with a .25 cent coloring book. I've never met someone that was so spoiled yet so happy with something most people would think of as petty.

But I am happy for you that you have a connection with this little girl, children are what make life worth living my friend!
And I am happy to hear that after all the bad in her life she found love and has become such a happy child.
