WG addon's search

Post by Stoneslinger76 »

I am looking for WG 3 addons specifically

Tradewars 2002

I have wg2 and wg3 versions up to 2.02 beta 6 (TW3nt.zip TW3dos.zip)
I understand their was a final release of TW2002 for mbbs/wg 3

TFLE The file Library extention, did a wg3 version ever get made for WG3?

I have been restoreing my old system WG v2 and upgradeing to WG 3.
I recieved from gcomm WG 3 about a week after I shut down the bbs in the late 90's and am upgrading now but need to find new versions.

Any current links to files and utils, would be appreciated.

thanks!

These three links probably contain the most mod addons for WG that you will find available for download, for all versions.

TradeWars 2002 was definitely released for NT. TFLE - who made it?

An excerpt from the History of Tradewars:

1992: Until 1992, Martin's version of Trade Wars was multiplayer, and persistent, but not interactive. That changed when Martech licensed Trade Wars 2002 to High Velocity Software to create TW2002 for the Major BBS. While Martech had, according to their estimates, about 60,000 BBSs running Trade Wars at that time, the Major BBS only offered a market of about 1,000 BBSs. But where the typical smaller BBS had 10 to 20 users, the Major BBS was often commercial and could have thousands. HVS completed work on their version and released it to the public in 1994.

This is the addon, nice if you have alot of cd's also has a nice interface for the file areas. I still have the file if you want it , but where you would register it?

Ahh.. Mountain Rose. I'd gotten in touch with Bert, but he fell off the face of the earth - emails went into the void. So unfortunately, I have no idea...

He has a site running

I dug out the bill and I purchased TFLE from Tessier back in 96. To bad this isn't available for wg3. It makes the file areas much easier to navigate.

Tessier wants nothing to do with Galacticomm, understandably. Although he had some culpability in the fallout, he also experienced a lot of pain from it.

No! I didn't - can you re-send? It might've gotten caught in the stupid SPAM filter.
